Hamas - Israel conflict...?

Ok guys, well I really don't know much about this, but I almost got in a fight over the topic so I would like to know as much about tis topic as possible. Who's to blame? Who's right and who's not? It would be nice to have commentary from both the Israli and Hamas standpoint.
