You know, if you combine the two (or make one a major and the other a minor), you'd have a pretty solid foundation for a career in international conservation. You're going to have to decide for yourself which one you really want to make your focus, but I would point out that international studies is typically more about other countries' political systems than their cultures, which tends to be the province of anthropology. It's also not a prerequisite for the Peace Corps, which takes applicants of all majors.
