Battlefield 2 bad company help?

my friend just bought the battlefield 2 bad company game where at a lan party thing and where all connected up but he was trying all last night and hes having this sort of of problem a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DFzS-872aJA" rel="nofollow"http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DFzS-872a…/a <-- good example of whats happening on his computer. we tried it on other peoples computers and works fine aswell as on my own. ahe only just bought it last night and its not brining the message up for him to type in his cd key. bought it of steam aswell. thanks for the help if you can help 10 points to the person that can resolve this issue
