Where can i get a programmable cd player?

ok, there's this programmable cd player i saw on this movie "ghost" starring whoopi goldberg....yeah the pretty old movie. if you've seen it, you'll remember a cd player that was shown there that selects cd's and plays it to programmed tracks. I dont kow if there's any such cd player in the market but if there is, can anyone let me know hwere to find one, please?
